CONTRIBUTIONS OF PHILOSOPHICAL PROBLEMATIZATION TO THE STUDY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

The essay approaches philosophy as a critical-reflective and radical doing and ints contribution to the study of public administration. It explains the transdisciplinary of the problems in this field and the rooting of its sciences to philosophy. It points out the ongoing process of establishing public administration as a discipline, a movement that also addresses the singular importance of philosophy and its function in the production of concepts. It proposes philosophical problematization as a resource for debugging and reframing concepts for understandings and actions that are different from conventional practice. Indicates themes and concepts of public administration for examinations and reflections, emphasizing the need for a specific look at Brazilian society and public administration. It ends with the proposition of elements for a conceptual problematization methodology to be implemented in the form of philosophical thinking workshops.
