EFFECTS OF THE LEARNING DOMAIN BASED ON BLOOM'S TAXONOMY ON INDIVIDUAL ABSORPTIVE CAPACITY

The objective of this study was to measure the effects of the learning domain, based on Bloom's taxonomy, on individual absorptive capacity. It was decided to investigate the absorptive capacity at the individual level because, as identified in the theoretical bases, most of the approaches focus on the organizational scope. In addition, it was observed that these studies involve only the cognitive domain of knowledge. The methodology was quantitative, in which the questionnaire was applied to a sample of 128 employees of the selected company, in the field of construction materials, in nine branches located in municipalities in the west of the state of Paraná. The purpose of the hypothesis was to test whether the learning domain influenced individual absorptive capacity. The results showed that the three domains - cognitive, affective, and psychomotor - together, resulting in the third-order variable called "learning domain", explained 38.8% of the individual absorptive capacity, confirming the statistical hypothesis of this study. It is considered that this research may bring new perspectives, by including the learning domain with the affective and psychomotor dimensions, in studies of absorptive capacity applied in Administration, in the individual, group and organizational spheres.
