This research is a preliminary comparative study between two teaching strategies: "case study" and "class". The objective is to verify the theoretical-practical correlation of these strategies and thus creating parameters to analyse the utilization of the case study approach. The paramenters created in this analysis have broached the students preference regarding the strategies themselves and the study phases developed by the students in both strategies mentioned above, according to the estabilished criteria of this work. Besides, the students opinions are talking to accamet concerning these strategies and regarding the numeric distribution of the students in the theoretical-practical correlation of both disciplines
