This work puts in evidence the emotional involviment between the nurser student and his patient, and yet the consequences of this in his future professional life. The authors based in their clinic learning of Graduação em Enfermagem e Obstetricia, debate the difference between the professional and the nursery student relationship with the patient, also analysing the influence of this in the recovery. Includes reflexions about the damage caused by non-acquaintance of the relationship limits, what this brings to both and also about the resources used to overcome the conflicts
