The authors propose a methodology using an instrument which classifies the nursing care to the client of the hospital area. The instrument comprises twelve indicators, the result of which helps to provide a dynamic, individualized and continuous care and allows also a critical evaluation of the services provided. This methodology facilitates the planning of the nursing care acting on its qualification and supplying means for the calculation of the nursing personal appraisal.
