Operative group as a pedagogical strategy in a nursing graduation course: a continent for the fourth-year students' experiences

The objetive of this study is to offer a space for the fourth-year students of the nursing school to express their experiences. A space was put in operation by the use of an operative group technique, and the subjects of the study,. centered in the task, exchange experiences and evaluate their participation in the groups. To understand the students' experiencé, a qualitative study with the research-action method was produced. The problematic of the study involved the concept that learning is a socialization process which demands changes and mobilize the novices' feelings. The operative group worked as a continent for the students' experiences in which they could explain their feelings. Such feelings, mobilized on their graduation process, were impossible to be ignored the nursing teacher.
