The present study has the objective of identifying the current state of the scientific production regarding to the nursing administration in Brazil considering the nursing research environmet for the last 40 years, was used every national periodical — 1948-1988 stage in the bibliography data base contents. The published studies will be analyze according to: the principal area of the autor; priority suject indexed to the data base; periodical and published period, methods ant techniques used in the creation.
