Abstract:
Heterosexual adolescent women living with their partners is an emergent reality in Chile, the incidence of which has not been analyzed regarding decision making and negotiation in sexuality. From the qualitative research carried out at a sexual and reproductive health center between 2014-2017, the presence of a gender representation that normalizes the presence of controlling practices diffusing into their autonomy spaces was observed. The implicit control that their partners begin to exercise hinders the women’s chances of negotiating in sexuality on issues such as frequency of sexual activity and the desire for pregnancy.
