Wellbeing of the Physical Education teacher throughout the career

This study analyzed the wellbeing (WB) by means of the Social Environmental Parameter (Job Satisfaction - JS) and the Individual Parameter (Lifestyle - LS) of Physical Education teachers, considering the Professional Development Cycles (PDC). To this end, participated in this study 1,645 teachers of the state public teaching of the Southern Brazil. For data collection, it was used a social demographic and professional questionnaire, as well as the QVT-PEF and PEVI instruments. The results did not evidence any association between WB and PDC. In relation to the Individual and Social Environmental Parameters, no differences were found between the Diversification and Stabilization Cycles when evaluated the JS. In the evaluation of the LS, only the Preventive Behavior identified significant differences between these cycles. These results showed high concordance of feelings and behaviors in front of Individual and Social Environmental Parameters of the Wellbeing of The Teacher Worker after nine years of teaching.
