Abstract
In this article, based on an exploratory investigation with field work, interviews in depth and life histories, and based on previous work on the subject, we try to explain the occurrence of the phenomenon of Bolivians, mainly of Aymara origin, who as a result of the activity carried out at the fairs of Greater Buenos Aires, from the creation of the large market in La Salada, they were able to transform themselves from immigrants with a high degree of discrimination into economically successful citizens and recognized by government policy.
