Abstract
Central America experienced important levels of forced migration since last decades of 20th century. Restrictions to migrant fluxes implemented by the United States derived part of these migration fluxes to Spain. This work offers a structural analysis of migration processes that took place between Honduras, El Salvador and Spain, through a critical interdisciplinary approach that encompass the study of forced migration with the analysis of the historical context in which population movements occur, shedding light on the situation of migrants coming from these two Central American countries to Spain.
