ABSTRACT
This paper analyses some important aspects that are considered in the capitalist process of calculus used in the decisions of investment. The bases for this analysis are the argumentation presented in the fifth chapter of the doctorate thesis of Sílvia Possas (1993POSSAS, M. S. (1993) Concorrência e competitividade: notas sobre estratégia e dinâmica seletiva na economia capitalista. Tese de Doutorado. Campinas, IE/UNICAMP.). Some own reflections about these arguments and of distinguished Post-Keynesians are also ser forth, for Possas neglected certain important points in the discussion she made in this chapter that re-elaborates some reasonings of Keynes (1936KEYNES, J. M. (1936) The general theory of employment, interest and money. Harvest Harcourt Brace, 1991.) and of these Post-Keynesians.
