Índice de desempenho competitivo das empresas de polpa de frutas do Estado do Pará

The objective of this paper was to construct a competitive performance index (CPI) for the fruit’s pulp firms of State of Pará. A factor analysis and multiple regression models were used to estimate the CPI. Out the 27 firms analyzed, the results showed that only one firm presented a high CPI and three firms are obtaining intermediate CPI. Finally, there is a positive relationship between the firms’ CPI and the variables profit’s margins and number of supplier was observed.
