ABSTRACT
In this year that follows the Centenary of the Week of 1922, we propose a study on the need to expand concepts of modernity and national identity. From this perspective, it is worth analyzing certain hybrid poetics - such as the narratives of Hélio Serejo and the poetry of rappers Brô MC’s - coming from historically invisible regions, engaged in the defense of new aesthetic codes and knowledge for the construction of a model of Brazilianness free from colonial violence once legitimized in this country.
