In O espírito das roupas, the author demonstrates that clothes are much more than a superfluous article. Composing itself at every moment, playing with the unexpected, depending on the gesture, fashion is the most human of the arts. A simple accessory like a hat can materialize the human soul, so that we can be interpreted by what we wear. Our author’s expert look, attentive to details, and which managed to see a constellation of meanings in a piece of clothing, will also be analyzed here when we confront her essays and interviews.
