ABSTRACT

This is the literary review of Chico Buarque’s collected short stories Anos de chumbo e outros contos (2021). Singer, song writer and writer, winner of Camões Prize for his overall work (2019), he starts in short textual genre. If the title of this work refers to our traumatic past, the narrative fabric reveals specially its contemporary traces.
