ABSTRACT
This text compiles the ideas apresented in IEBinário “Celso Furtado: between international relations and ecology”, which took place on December 14, 2020, at the invitation of the Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros (IEB/USP). The event, mediated by Rosa Freire d’Aguiar Furtado, writer, translator and organizer of several works by Celso Furtado, was attended by professor Alexandre de Freitas Barbosa (IEB/USP), ecological economist Clóvis Cavalcanti, emeritus researcher at the Fundação Joaquim Nabuco, and the jurist and diplomat Rubens Ricupero.
