ABSTRACT
The book, the object of this review, consists of the translation of important texts by García Canclini on cultural policies, with emphasis on one published in 1987. It also has a collection of articles by Brazilian experts who comment on the thoughts of the Argentine intellectual. In this way, he proposes a reflection on Canclini’s influence on Latin American cultural policies, with special attention to the Brazilian case.
