ABSTRACT
The advent of Anthropocene requires us to recognize different figurations of peoples and of the world in order to name them properly and be able to discern allies and adversaries in the incoming struggle that faces an increasingly devastated world. New practices should be accompanied by new concepts in a kind of mutual instructing relation. Hence the questions: Which world corresponds to Brazil? Which worlds can correspond to “the brasis”? In order to find different paths, we have to review the future to conceive new settlements, new imaginations, and vice-versa.
