Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to contribute to a criticism, reflection and deepening of the dialog between social service and anthropology in the education of social workers in the Amazon. This dialog is an important interface for the political positioning of the profession and one of the mediations in the practice of social workers. It mentions historic and socio-anthropological aspects of the Amazonian context, understanding that the explanation, understanding and interpretation of the consonances and contradictions between particularities and totalities of the concrete reality to be necessary, so that social subjects are recognized and considered in the curricular matrixes of the course.
