Abstract:
The article seeks to present the contributions of Clóvis Moura's thinking to the analysis of the social issue in Brazil, through bibliographic and documentary research and reflections on the author's thinking, according to Social Work. The proposal is structured in three moments, the first being a brief presentation of the analysis of the social issue in Social Work, the second on the Mourean thought about Brazilian economic-social formation and ethnic-racial relations, and, finally, the The last moment seeks a dialogue between the thought of Clóvis Moura, dependent capitalism and the social question in Brazil. We seek to demonstrate that the genesis and development of the social question necessarily pass through the analysis of the racial question, understanding that racism is not an expression of the social question, but the expressions of the social question substantially permeate racial relations.
