Abstract:
This article discusses theoretical-methodological aspects of the relationship between theory and practice in professional education and in internships in social work, highlighting two antagonistic perspectives: the pragmatic and the Marxian. It is the fruit of theoretical reflections and experiences accumulated in academic supervision of social work internships. It presents challenges faced in the contemporary supervision process.
