This study reports an experience in nursing accompaniment, pedagogical and agricultural advice in a community of settled people without land in the countryside of Cascavel, state of Paraná. The basic premise was student/teacher integration offering the opportunity of knowledge socialization, integration of theory and practice and direct contact with the community. It points out that nursing needs a better understanding of this type of reality seeking, by observation and living, a critical vision with the possibility of intervention.
