The voice of God and the hands of Bispo. Art and madness in Arthur Bispo do Rosário's pictorial writing

This essay discusses the existential, social, psychiatric, social and artistic path of artist-madman Arthur Bispo do Rosário, from an interpretative perspective that combines the theoretical speeches of psychoanalysis (Freud and Lacan), of Foucault's archaeology of philosophy, and interpretation of the concept of procedure for the writing of psychosis carried out by the philosophical speech of Deleuze. In this way, Bispo's social insecurity (desolation) and psychic vulnerability (helplessness) are highlighted to emphasize the establishment of the techniques that he used to create his pictorial path, and which served as a model of composition for contemporary artists in the outskirts of big Brazilian cities.
