A catástrofe de Kraepelin

Modern psychiatry was born as the result of a historical discontinuity that led to a sudden radical change, with Kraepelin as the main agent of this process of change. A careful study of the facts show how these changes are expressed as a typical qualitative leap, as analysed under the interpretative method of the catastrophe theory.
