This study investigates if writing may be used as a therapeutic resource for mothers bereaved by stillbirth. Three blogs written by mothers were analyzed, based on Bolwby’s theory (attachment and loss). Our findings confirm that writing has a therapeutic effect, since it helps processing both the traumatic experience and the socially invisible loss, in addition of being the most important means to preserve the memory of the lost baby.
