De modos interesantes, el mundo de la arquitectura – generalmente aquí definido como la preocupación deliberada con el ambiente humano construido – y el mundo del psicoanálisis – generalmente declarado como el lugar para el estudio de la vida mental inconsciente – entrecruzanse. Una construcción deriva de la imaginación humana, en una dialéctica que es ampliamente influenciada por muchos factores contribuyentes – su función declarada, su relación con el entorno, sus posibilidades funcionales, su aspecto artístico o su design, los deseos de su cliente, la respuesta anticipada del público y muchos otros factores que constituyen su estructura psíquica. Mismo que la obra sea proveniente del idioma conocido de su arquitecto – e esto queda claro en un Le Corbusier o en un Mis Van der Roe – ella pasa también por muchas imágenes mentales, derivadas de diversos factores, que serán parte de la dirección inconsciente del proyecto del arquitecto.
In interesting ways, both the architecture – here defined as the deeliberate concern with the constructed human environment – and the psychoanalysis world – this latter pointed out as the place for the study of the unconscious mental life – are interwoven. A construction derives from the human imagination in the core of a dialectic process largely influenced by many contributing factors – its spoken out function, its links with the surroundings, its functional possibilities, its artistic aspects or design, his clients wishes, the public’s foreseen response to it and many others items that embody its psychic structure. Even if the work is derived from the architect’s well known idiom – and that gets clear when we deal with architects as Le Corbusier and Mies Van der Roe – it also goes through diverse mental images triggered by a numerous factors that will take part in the unconscious guidance of the architect’s project.
