Abstract

In the present work the authors propose the study of the venation and epidermis of the leaves of the Melastomataceae family, relative to the species of the genus Miconia Ruiz et Pav., section Tamonea (Aubl.) Cogn., ocurrent in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
