Abstract
Rubus rosifolius J. Smith, var. rosifolius, usually known as berries (mulberry as blackberry and raspberry).
It is a cosmopolitan plant chiefly found in slope woods. Bibliographical research concerning the genus Rubus, has no reference to the anatomical study of brazilian species. This made us start working in the floral anatomy of species of the mentioned genus. At first we chose the adult flower of the Rubus rosifolius where we dealt with the structure of verticils: sepals, petals, peduncles and carpels as well as with the chemical nature of the contents of the cells.
