This study is focused on the taxonomic treatment of the genus Chamaecrista Moench in the Serra Dourada State Park. Fourteen taxa are presented, of which C.desvauxii var. peronadenia and C. orbiculata var. trichothyrsus are endemic to the studied area, whereas C. glandulosa var. brasiliensis and C. nictitans subsp. patellaria var. paraguariensis are firstly reported to the state of Goiás. Indentification keys, descriptions, illustrations, morphological affinities, geographical distribution and phenology of all taxa are presented.
