Abstract
This paper presents the results of the rust mycobiota (Uredinales) inventory from Lake Piratuba Biological Reserve, Amapá state, Brazil. Seventeen taxa of rust fungi were identified. The specimens were parasitizing fifteen host plant genera from twelve families. The species Aecidium amazonense Henn., Phragmidiella bignoniacearum (W.T Dale) Buriticá & J.F. Hennen, Prospodium laevigatum J. F. Hennen & Sotão, Puccinia cynanchi Berk. & M. A. Curtis, Puccinia lateritia Berk. & M. A. Curtis, Puccinia peperomiae J. C. Lindq., Puccinia puta H.S. Jacks. & Holw. And Puccinia spegazzinii De Toni are new reports for Amapá. All the listed species are new reports for the study area.
