Abstract
Four species of Alismataceae were found in the Serra dos Carajás, Pará state, Brazil: Limnocharis flava, Echinodorus grisebachii, Helanthium tenellum and Sagittaria rhombifolia, the last two, found in the canga formations. Descriptions, comments and illustrations of the species recorded in the cangas are presented.
