Abstract
Passifloraceae is mainly characterized by the lianescent habit, and the genus Passiflora is the most representative. In the Serra dos Carajás, 12 species were recorded, but only P. ceratocarpa, P. glandulosa, P. tholozanii, and Passiflora sp1 occur in the cangas. This study provides descriptions, illustrations and morphological comments for these four species.
