Abstract
This work aims to contribute to the flora of Oxalidaceae from Rio de Janeiro state. It is based on the analysis of herbarium specimens and fieldwork, as well as on the relevant literature and online herbaria databases. Two genera were recorded: Biophytum (one species) and Oxalis (21 species). Descriptions, illustrations, comments, and data on preferential habitats and geographic distribution of each species are provided.
