Abstract
The present study comprises the Ochnaceae that were recorded on iron-stone (canga) at the Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil. It includes identification keys, descriptions, illustrations and comments regarding the three species recorded in two genera, Ouratea (O. castaneifolia and Ouratea racemiformis), and Sauvagesia tenella.
