A new species, a new status and new combinations in Glandularia (Verbenaceae) for Southern Brazil

Abstract

We describe and illustrate a new species of Glandularia, G. guaibensis P. Peralta & Thode, endemic to Guaíba, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, collected in swamps. In addition, the following combinations are presented: G. angustilobata (Moldenke) P. Peralta & Thode, G. lobata (Vell.) P. Peralta & Thode, G. lobata var. glabrata (Moldenke) P. Peralta & Thode, G. tessmannii (Moldenke) P. Peralta & Thode, and G. rectiloba (Moldenke) P. Peralta & Thode.
