Deslocamentos em dois cortejos processionais católicos

The observations on two processions in honor to Saint Sebastian, the catholic Patron of Rio de Janeiro city, oferred the possibility on analyses concerning an amount of dislocations that reflect acts or situations of transitivity observed nowadays on many religious behaviors in brazilian population. Among the dislocations here commented, we have: from the religious ritual context to the dramatic art one; from the devotional spirit to political claims; from the catholic communities to afro-brazilian religious groups exposition; from family groups to gay people recognized presences; finally, from religious to magical behaviors. Some of these dislocations involve worldviews differences in our religious day-by-day experiences but, ones of those appear not contradictory in the development of the human and religious process among the people, but another ones show religious and cultural exclusiveness as characteristic of the groups and, therefore they fight against the bricolage of the beliefs and ritual experience, so expressing and producing forms of social tension.
