A fluorescent antibody test is described for the serodiagnosis of cysticercosis, employing delipidized particles of Cysticercus cellulosae fixed on microscope slides, as antigen. Tests with serum dilutions or spinal fluids from patients with cysticercosis resulted in intense fluorescent staining of the particles, which were seen as dim-red, non-fluorescent in negative tests.
