for the following species: Triatoma brasiliensis, T. maculata, T. sórdida, Rhodnius pictepes, R. neglectus and Panstrongylus geniculatus. Of these species, T. brasiliensis was the most common and widely distributed. The authors refer that this specie is the most important vector of Chagas' disease. Attention is drawn to the role that R. pictepes, R. neglectus and P. geniculatus can play in maintaining the wild cycle of Trypanosoma cruzi.
