Christian democracy and populism: a historic comparative mark between Brazil and Chile

The aim of this article is to indicate the form that Christian Democracy, in Brazil and Chile, articulated with populism. The Brazilian historic period chosen for analysis is that known as populist democracy (1945-1964) and in the case of Chile, that of Eduardo Frei Montalva's presidency (1964-1970).
