Abstract
Is Gabriel Cohn a Weberian? This text comments on Cohn’s critique of Max Weber in Crítica e Resignação, focusing on the book’s implicit dialogue with the Marxist tradition of critical theory. Without attempting to exhaust the topic, the idea is to debate various questions regarding the separation between action and thought for Weber, as well as to revisit his theory of rationalization, taking into account the way in which critical theory approached these same problems.
