Occupational Health: needs disregarded by the management of the Unified Health System

ABSTRACT

This is a reflective essay that analyzes the Unified Health System's (SUS) operational and agreement rules. It shows that the normative statement resulting from health agreements is consistent with the constitutional provision of promotion, protection and rehabilitation of the worker's health and the epidemiological indicators of diseases resulting from work. It uses, as a method, the documentary and bibliographic analysis related to the subject and concludes that, based on the health needs, those that concern the worker's health are disregarded by the mechanisms of agreement and management of the health needs related to worker's health are disregarded by the pact mechanisms and management of the SUS.
