ABSTRACT
The Large Scale Project is the focus of this article. Despite numerous publications, we proposed investigate it in a historical perspective for its importance in the formulation of educational policies in health. We present a systematic manner, situational aspects, revealing historical and conceptual decisions, positions and choices, plans and policy discourse around it. The method used was document analysis. Concepts such as ‘training’ ‘education service integration’ and ‘metodology’ shows the dynamics of the Large Scale Project in time. Its conceptual basis for substrate offers new educational proposals in the sector, such as the National Policy on Permanent Education in Health, the Ministry of Health.
