Health of the worker(s): from 'field' to 'issue' or from the health subject to the revolutionary subject

ABSTRACT

Through the distinction between the 'Health of Worker field' and the 'health of workers issue', the aim of this article is to discuss who their fundamental subjects are and what kind of relation can be established. We presented, thus, the limitations and possibilities given to the health subject, as an active subject in the construction of citizenship in the 'Health of the Worker' scope, but who is still confined within capitalism and, therefore, within the 'field' on which they take part. The revolutionary subject, on the other hand, has the historical task of breaking the limits of capitalism and, in this way, facing the 'issue' in its roots, beyond the boundaries of any field.
