ABSTRACT
This article reports the experience of three meetings with users of o Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS ad), where the topic discussed was the concept of crisis within the context of alcohol and other drugs. This report provides a possibility questioning the concept of crisis, noting that the reading of this phenomenon is indispensable for the treatment of drug users. It was noticed that users consider the crisis as something distinct form recurrence of use. They attribute their origin to the material condition of existence and the affections, and after the crisis, tend to pul the health unit in place of 'saving'
