ABSTRACT
In order to map the experience of crack users in Recife, this study was developed with crack users in treatment, totaling 12 interviews. The research was qualitative phenomenological inspired by Husserl's theory and Giorgi's method. This method includes 04 steps: The sense of the whole; Discrimination Unit Meanings; Psychological comprehension of the Units Meanings; composition syntheses specific and general. Units of Meaning pointed several aspects and in this article we will highlight 04: The crack as the experience of being dependent; The marks of the beginning of a path; The significance of the encounter with the stone; and feeling the consumption of crack. Given the complexity of the issues, major challenges facing the care of crack users. It is fundamentally a continuous reflection on this practice
