Humanization in Primary Care: the perception of health workers

ABSTRACT

This article is the product of a qualitative research, which used semi-structured interviews and participant observation to collect data. The informants were delimited by the method of sampling and theoretical saturation data analyzed using the hermeneutic dialectic. Some results we have reached: the workers have insufficient knowledge of the determinations of the National Policy of Humanization, their actions are guided humanization with emphasis on the reception, reducing lines and decreasing the waiting time for appointments. Many believe that the most influence in making this work is guided by the interests of professional ethics and values training.
