PET-Health/GraduaSUS: retrospective, differentials and panorama of project distribution

ABSTRACT

This article aimed to analyze the most recent edition of the Program of Education for Work for Health - PET-Health/GraduaSUS, rescuing its antecedents, establishing a comparison with the previous editions and describing the distribution scenario of the approved projects. For this purpose, a documentary appreciation of the eight notices of the program was carried out and descriptive statistical analysis of secondary data available in the PET-Health Management Information System. As differentials of the GraduaSUS edition, it is mentioned the stimulation to the most active participation of the health services in the definition and coordination of the actions to be implemented by the tutorial groups as well as the teacher and preceptory development. The distribution panorama of the approved projects, with number of groups and scholarship holders, follows the scenario of concentration of higher education institutions between the Brazilian regions and states. It was verified that the PET-Health/GraduaSUS has added undergraduate courses of different categories, apportioning and/or expanding the participation of those still little inserted in the scenarios of Primary Care, and mobilized the inclusion of a significant number of volunteers and partnerships between education institutions located in the same territory of activity.
