The practice of the health education in the perception of the diabetic and hypertensive users

This qualitative study aimed to analyze, from the user's perception, the practice of the health education in the Family Health Strategy context. Some non structured interviews and discourse analysis were done. Educational activities are based on conflicting ideas: the integrality and the attention to the disease, demonstrating the conflicting reality. The educational group represents a support mechanism to those facing the chronic illness. There is a coexistence of divergent pedagogies, as the traditionalists and dialogical ones. We can observe the existence of a plural scenario under a process of transformation.
