Continuing education in the daily of Primary Care in Mato Grosso do Sul

The article analyzed the actions of Continuing Education in Primary Care in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, from the perspective of 184 participating teams in the first stage of Program for Access and Quality Improvement (PMAQ), from June 2012 to February 2013. Among the actions of Continuing Education, the classroom courses were more prevalent, followed by an exchange of experience, tele-education, distance learning and mentoring / preceptorship, both in the capital and in the country. The planning and management support actions were more prevalent in the capital. The management support actions were directly related to the planning and to the organization of the work process.
